Dr. Lex Pulice-Farrow [he/they] graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville's Counseling Psychology Ph.D. Program in 2024 after completing his pre-doctoral internship at the University of Maryland's Student Counseling Center. They are currently an assistant professor of clinical/counseling psychology at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, where they teach undergraduate courses that focus on psychopathology and gender and sexuality. Lex currently oversees undergraduate students for independent study and undergraduate theses, and pursues research that centers the lived experiences of transgender and nonbinary individuals. When not teaching, Lex enjoys hiking with his dog, reading, and training for fairly silly athletic events like HyRox and triathlons. CV
Dr. Saumya Arora [she/they] earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 2025, and she is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Pacific Lutheran University. She completed her APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the University of Illinois Chicago Counseling Center and her postdoctoral fellowship at Northeastern Illinois University. Her work as a counseling psychologist integrates teaching, research, and clinical practice, with a focus on understanding how culture, identity, and systems of oppression shape mental health and psychotherapy.
Saumya’s research and clinical interests center on three broad areas: (1) the mental health and wellbeing of queer and/or trans Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (QTBIPOC); (2) South Asian mental health; and (3) advocacy and social change through research. Across their scholarship, teaching, and clinical work, they draw from community-centered and feminist-multicultural frameworks and is committed to promoting collective wellness among marginalized communities. Dr. Jasmine Aguirre [she/ella] earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2025. She completed her APA-accredited predoctoral internship in a community mental health setting at River Valley Health (formerly Cherokee Health Systems) with an emphasis on behavioral health consultation in OBGYN and pediatric clinics as well as adolescent psychotherapy. She completed her clinical psychology post-doctoral fellowship in the Health Disparities track with South Texas Veterans Healthcare System in San Antonio, Texas. She will be transitioning to a staff psychologist position with clinical interests in reproductive mental health and perinatal mental healthcare, intersectionality and minority stress, and trauma experiences at the interpersonal, institutional, and systemic levels. In her spare time Jasmine loves spending quality time with her family, reading witchy books, and crafting. CV
